Bic Tran

Producer

Bic Tran is a feature film producer who has produced three independent films in the last two years. The films include CAT RUN 2, directed by John Stockwell and written by Mark & Andrew Manson. Produced alongside Mr. Perkins and Lleju, the film starred Scott Mechlowicz, Alphonso McAuley and Winter Zoli, and was acquired by NBCU. Also produced with Mr. Perkins was FRANK & CINDY, a family dramedy written & directed by GJ Echternkamp which starred Renee Russo, Oliver Platt, Johnny Simmons & Jane Levy.

Ms. Tran produced KID CANNABIS, which was written & directed by John Stockwell, and starred Kenny Wormald, Jonathan Daniel Brown, Ron Perlman, Aaron Yoo, John C. McGinley. That film was recently distributed by Well Go USA, and earned an 83% Rotten Tomatoes rating.

Prior to producing, Ms. Tran was an agent in ICM’s Independent and International Film division, structuring and arranging financing for independent motion pictures, as well as packaging and securing distribution for them. Motion pictures Ms. Tran packaged and sold include Crazy Heart, starring Jeff Bridges, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Colin Farrell and Robert Duvall, which won two Academy Awards in 2010 (for Best Actor and Best Song); After.Life, starring Christina Ricci, Liam Neeson and Justin Long; The Joneses, starring David Duchovny, Demi Moore and Amber Heard; and Unthinkable, starring Michael Sheen and Samuel L. Jackson.

Prior to ICM, Ms. Tran was Vice President of Acquisitions and Co-Productions at Lakeshore Entertainment which she joined in 1996 as assistant to Chairman/CEO Tom Rosenberg. There she developed and packaged numerous films for the company including: Underworld, Crank, Wicker Park, The Mothman Prophecies, Autumn in New York, The Next Best Thing and Arlington Road. She produced the 2005 romantic teen comedy, Undiscovered, starring Steven Strait, Kip Pardue, Pell James and Ashlee Simpson.

Marielle Skouras

Producer

Marielle Skouras is a third-generation Los Angeles native, and was raised in an entertainment family. She brings over five years of experience in non-fiction TV development and production to Lleju TV. Marielle ran the development department at Asylum Entertainment from 2011 to 2013, where she created Reelz Channel’s hit series, Beverly Hills Pawn. During her time at Asylum, Marielle developed and sold over two-dozen series to networks such as AMC, Bio, Discovery, E!, HGTV, History, H2, Lifetime, Oxygen, Spike, SyFy, Travel and TLC, among others. Most recently, Marielle served as Co-Executive Producer on the new series, Treasure King, airing on the Reelz Network. Some of Marielle’s credits include Owner’s Manual on AMC, 10 Things You Don’t Know About on History, Natural Born Sellers on HGTV, Gangsters: America’s Most Evil on Bio, and Countdown to Apocalypse on H2.

Kevin McGinley

Producer

Kevin McGinley brings over ten years of experience as a talent manager, agent and feature film producer to Lleju TV. Kevin is known for his strong eye for talent and business acumen, which crosses over well into the alternative TV world. Kevin started his career at James, Levy, Jacobsen, before joining Kazarian, Spencer and Associates as department head of the theatrical division, before heading back into the management world at The Group Management. Kevin has produced content of all kinds, from short films to indie features, most recently working on Frank and Cindy, where he met Bill Perkins and Bic Tran. Kevin merged into the unscripted world in 2013, when he and Marielle Skouras Co-Executive Produced Treasure King on the Reelz Network.
